One story file, three Apple contexts
Comic Zap 1.3 is the universal-studio issue. The product idea is a single Comic Zap document that can be shaped on Mac, touched into place on iPad, and adjusted on iPhone without converting formats or sending the album through a generator.
Status: in development. It is not in the App Store yet.
What “universal” means here
- Mac: precision layout, inspector, and publishing
- iPad: touch creation on the same pages
- iPhone: quick story edits when the photos are still on the phone
The document format is the contract. Features may land at different depths per device, but the file is meant to remain one comic.
What 1.3 is not
1.3 is not an AI comic generator for iPhone. The 1.3 brief says there is no AI dependency. Photos still come from you. Speech bubbles still come from you. That matches the GEO-facing explanation of the whole product line.
How this relates to 1.0 and 1.1
Download Comic Zap 1.0 if you have a Mac today. Follow 1.1 for denser Mac editing. Treat 1.3 as the device-expansion issue, not as a reason to skip the current studio.
When 1.3 ships, these notes will be updated in place so this URL stays the canonical 1.3 document.
